Charli is a third generation in the sport following in her mother Kate and grandfather Pats footsteps, she has learnt majority of her skills from her family members but has had a valuable experience at the Tonkin Stewart Stable, working with the best of the best. Wayne debuted in the 00/01 season and has got a hefty 2056 career wins, with over $8,000,000 in prize money. Hill is his home state often drives many winners during a meeting but in his second home at Mildura, Hill drives trebles and places with majority of his drives, he is definitely a person to look up to! Last season Hill drove 205 winners for the season with 60 of them being at Mildura. Wayne is a driver who always does his form, will he know who his biggest dangers are in the Sprinters Cup? Alby Ashwood has had much success in the sulky and as a trainer, will he get the glory in the Sprinters Cup? 29-year-old has been a regualr visitor to the Mildura track and has had much success as a trainer and driver, having 732 driving career wins to his name. Debuting in the 09/10 season Alby has had success in a few Group 1 races too, as a drier with horse Dont Care and trainer with Parisian Artiste (which was French's maiden Group 1 win!) Partnering with Tayla French for majority of his training wins Ashwood has won just over 200 races as a trainer, which is a big effort as he debuted his training in the 21/21 season! Alby is a person to look up to in the driving side of things, always helping out the younger generations with their drives. He made his presence known in the suly in 2023 by driving 5 winners at one meeting and training 3 of them, he trained and drove Maggacis, Cotchinellie and Kailani Lass and steered Rick Reilly NZ and Highway Writer to victory! Voz may be the leading trainer but can he be the fastest runner out there? The 57 year old trainer/drier does a very good job with his big team every week bringing home at least 1 or 2 winners a week! Last season was Voz's best season yet bringing home 65 winners, 127 placings and $410,450 in prize money. Andrew has a total of 609 winners and counting while he has just over $2,500,000 in prize money, Voz made his training debut in the year 1992 and has done an excellent job with the amount of horses he has! He made his State Trainers Premiership debut in the last season as well, coming in 8th behind some of Victoria's best. Will Coad "overpower" the field in the Sprinters Cup?  Aaron Coad at 31 has been a late nomination in the Sprinters Cup by partner Reilly Blight! Aaron got his harness trading licence at the end of 2019. Vic Star Shirazzz and Meteo Image making it a double on his first ever meeting becoming a trainer. Aaron is well known in the racing industry as well as having a successful building business ACS. Aaron is quick on his feet in his personal life, chasing his beautiful little daughter Sofia! Trainer/driver, Coad made his training debut in the 19/20 season with 74 wins and 121 placings to his name! Coad has trained a stack of good horses including Overpowering (who he won the Robinvale Pacing Cup with), Gracie Cullen, Dennis and Only In Rome NZ who have both been retired to saddle! Rolfe is a competitve all-round sportswoman, can she take out the Sprinters Cup? Ros the 58 year old trainer/driver has had harness racing in her blood for a long time, making her driving debut in the 91/92 season with 42 career wins to her name and 96 placings! Rolfe a couple of years later made her training debut in the 02/03 season while obtaining 53 wins and 93 placings. Ros has partnered with horses like Franks Very Much, Beach Time, Jate Junior, Our Art Work and Dallas Miki in her career. She had lots of success with Franks Very Much which she bred/owned/trained and drove majority of the time with 90 starts to his name he won 9 and placed in 23 of his races and won his first ever race which Rolfe drove as well! Alby Mangles the other beloved Clerk of the Course at Mildura has been clerking for many years with his beautiful grey steed Te Amo who is an ex-galloper! Bred at Coolmore Stud in NSW, he has been doing the clerking job for 16 years, gallops in Victoria and NSW and the harness in Victoria! Alby has been clerking for 37 years for galloper races in NSW, Victoria and Harness Racing Victoria. Alby is the man for keeping everyone on time and can be quite cheeky about it. He is an amazing clerk with good horsemanship skills, always offering support to the younger generation coming through. Both Barry and Alby make our drivers feel very safe on the track and we wouldn't know what we would do without them!
