Americana singer-songwriter, Noah Guthrie's sound has been described as possessing Chris Stapleton’s country/rock grit with the authenticity of Jason Isbell. The unique soulfulness in his richly textured voice and the unmistakable Southern influence in his music makes him capable of conveying emotion as only a handful of artists can in today’s musical landscape.
Noah has released three critically-acclaimed albums. He has also performed on NBC’s Today Show and Tonight Show, Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family, and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. This is the third concert in the Big Band Jazz series presented by the Idaho Jazz Education Endowment.
Following the tradition of Monday night rehearsal bands, the Boise Modern Jazz Orchestra rehearses most Mondays throughout the year. The band reads a wide range of jazz literature with a focus on elevating the level of engagement within the big band jazz idiom. The band performs in public a few times yearly at venues and events such as the Sapphire Room, the Bouquet, the Gene Harris Jazz Festival, and they were the headline ensemble for the very first Boise Music Week Jazz Night. BMJO also performs for benefit and fundraising events throughout the Treasure Valley.

Entitled' "Ready For Another Load". Print #2 Of 6, Framed Abstract Ink Hand Drawing
An old hand cart that was left near a garden, or in the back yard, or perhaps out behind the barn is still waiting to be used. The original drawing , ink on vellum, was completed in December of 1978 and was recently restored and printed in February of 2026. This print is named, signed, and dated on the back. 8” x 10-1/2” in size.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: I am drawn to the sympathetic stories of older or abandoned structures—homes, farms, ranches, and places of business. Similarly, abandoned agricultural, logging, or mining equipment captures my attention. There was a time when these subjects were new, bright, and a source of pride to those who inhabited or used them; they contained family emotions, the sweat of labor, and were investments in hope for the future. Then, something changed. I seek to explore the stories that led to their abandonment or being left behind. My preferred media is ink and pencil on paper, utilizing a simple black and white palette with subtle gray highlights to evoke the feeling of old photographs from bygone times. I employ techniques reminiscent of hand-drawn architectural renderings and presentation drawings to honor these structures. My art is a respectful nod to the past, offering a sense of nostalgic comfort.

Jeremy Jeffers is a third generation Idahoan who was born and raised in Idaho's panhandle along the Clark Fork River. Growing up he worked ranching and farming and also spent time logging. He and his wife moved to Boise in 1981 and now enjoy traveling throught Idaho and across the United States.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Patsy (Patricia) LeVan was originally from Pennsylvania and was a K-12 Principal in New Jersey as a profession. However, her passion was watercolor and she did it for over 20 years. At the age of 67 she had a stroke and lost the use of her right hand. Her passion drove her to then learn to paint with her left hand. This painting was done at that point in time. She was an incredibly prolific artist.

Entitled "KINDRED SOULS"
This lithograph is from a charcoal portrait on wood. It is framed, signed and numbered 39 of 750 with certificate of authenticity. The detail is exquisite.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Donna J. Jacobson (1944-1994) was an American artist best known for charcoal portraits on wood, often depicting Native American subjects and spritual themes. Her work developed a recognizable style that combined the natural grain of wood with charcoal imagery. She explained that she would often begin with the eyes, then build the rest of the face around them. The wood’s grain helped form facial contours and textures, giving the portraits a natural, almost sculptural depth. Interestingly, she usually did no use models or photographs—many faces were imagined and created from memory or inspiration. Although she was not raised in Native American culture, Jacobson was fascinated with it from an early age. Later in life, she discovered that her father had Choctaw ancestry, which may have contributed to the strong cultural themes in her work.

The gorgeous box is expertly made by mastercraftman, Mick Schraufnagel. The top and legs are made out of arriba wood and the body is made from curly figured maple.
