Welcome to the Braddock Bay Raptor Research Bird of Prey Days Online Auction!!
BBRR holds this annual event every spring to celebrate the migration and help people discover the wonderful world of raptors and Braddock Bay. Funds raised from Bird of Prey Week programs and this auction directly support the research and education efforts of BBRR volunteers and staff throughout the year.
Your bid will help run our hawkwatch, pay for food for our resident raptors, purchase equipment for our banding program, and buy materials for our education programs.

Braddock Bay Raptor Research (BBRR) is a 501(c)-3 non profit, volunteer based organization.
Founded in 1986, BBRR has been continuously working towards preserving the area’s natural resources by focusing research and education activities on the spectacular spring raptor migration, and summer natal dispersal. Research at Braddock Bay focuses on a range of topics important to conservation efforts, including the daily and seasonal distribution of raptors according to species, age and sex, and the behavior of raptors in migration. Educational programs are offered throughout the year and aim to expose people to the wonderful world of raptors through field experiences as well as off site visits.

Eleven of twelve prints published in 1944 by Field & Stream, Game Birds of America by artist Lynn Bogue Hunt. The artist was born in Honeoye Falls in 1878. Each print is 16 x 13 inches and suitable for framing.
This set depicts various game birds of America in stunning landscape habitats. Includes the original accompanying booklet with information about the artist and the work.
About the artist:
The artist, Lynn Bogue Hunt (1878-1960) was born in Honeoye Falls and was an American wildlife artist and illustrator of magazines and books.
He lived in Albion, Michigan from age 12 and later attended Albion College. From 1899 he was a staff artist at the Detroit Free Press. He moved to New York City in 1903, where he was a freelance artist, providing illustrations for magazines, books and advertisements. Books illustrated included books on waterfowl hunting, upload game bird hunting and saltwater fishing, which were also his own main interests. He illustrated several books published by the Derrydale Press. From 1924 to 1947 he contributed regularly to Field & Stream, providing magazine covers and illustrating articles. He designed the 1939/40 Federal Duck Stamp. Game Birds of America, 12 color prints published by Field & Stream, appeared in 1944.

The obverse carries a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt, which is seen on each Birds of Prey coin. Along with Her Majesty’s name and the year, the coin’s denomination of $5 is also inscribed.
