DAIMLER 250V8

 Daimler 250V8 Saloon, 1969. One of the last produced, combining the legendary Mk2 Jaguar body with the fantastic 2.5litre Hemi-head V8 made by Daimler for their ill-fated SP250 "BatMobile" sports car.

Registered on Historic Car plates, it comes with some spares including radiator, transmission, bumpers, boot and bonnet panels etc, etc. Its an "older restoration" in really good condition. Running very well.

TRACTOR - Leyland 154

 Leyland 154 diesel Tractor. 28HP 2WD 5-speed manual. BMC "B"series 1500cc diesel engine. 2-speed PTO. Cat-1 Three-point linkage. Showing only about 1500hrs.

We have owned this tractor since 1985, and it has done everything we have asked of it, including working a 4'6" slasher.

It couldn't handle the steep country when we moved here, and took too long to get through the work, which is why we bought the bigger 462 4WD.

It comes with the carryall. ROPS is fitted. Front tyres are "new", but the rear tyres are the originals, and are starting to show cracks. They will need replacement soon.

The tractor is basically complete, and would suit restoration or could continue to be used around a small farm for years to come. Starts and runs perfectly. All of our kids learned to drive on this one.

TRACTOR - Leyland 462 - 62HP - 4WD - 10 speed.

 LEYLAND 462 Tractor. Mid 1970's solid British engineeriing. The Leyland 4/98 engine is still produced today and used in JCB equipment. Naturally aspirated 4 cylinder 62HP 4WD 10-speed manual. Showing <7,700 hours. Starts and runs perfectly. Uses little oil. Power Steering has minor leaks. Has "new" tyres all around, and recntly replaced clutches and throwout bearings.

Fitted with ROPS and a steel sun-shade. This has been our workhorse for the last 15 years, easily managing to slash / mulch about 40 acres of pasture, two or three times a year.

It is generally complete and in good condition considering its age. It would equally suit restoration and display, or continued use on a small holding. I'm very sad to have to part with this machine.

AMC Outback Mower

 AMC Outback 32" Ride-On Mower. Single cutter, converted to Cox blade disc with 4 blades. Kohler Command 22hp V-twin engine. Only 320 hours. Friction drive Forward / Reverse pedal. This has been my "rough" mower. It can handle grass which twin and triple-disc machines cannot look at.

AMC no longer exists, so you need to be your own mechanic, but the parts are all fairly basic. The Kohler engine is good for 5,000 hours if looked after properly.

It easily handles most of the wood which you can gather for yourself, up to about 40cm diameter, as long as it is not really twisty grain. Two Post Hoist

 Two-post car hoist rated at 4,000kgs. I have fitted a bridge piece joining the tops of the posts, to compensate for the inadequate thickness of my concrete floor. It should properly be mounted on concrete a minimum of 150mm thick.

The hoist requires its own 20-Amp single phase circuit, so installation cost needs to be considered. I will need assistance to dismantle the hoist for removal, which will need to happen in the first week of October.

SINGER Sewing Machine No.15K88. Not operating, but not seized up either. Just not been used for years. Has original Handbook and all extras. Leather Belt is there, but broken. Dirty dusty and a little bit rusty. Great project ! The cabinet / wood is all good but needs re-finishing.

 A mixed bunch of OO Gauge tracks, locomotives, and rolling stock. Power supply. 2 x LIMA locomotives. LIMA locomotives and carriages in original boxes. Hornby Dublo Locomotive is sadly missing its motor armature. The red travelling crane is missing its four "legs", but they wouldn't be too hard to make from scratch. Some of the other s are Triang branded. To be sold as ONE LOT ! Some Hornby Dublo 3-rail tracks included.

Leadlights

There are four lead light panels orignally in two sets of internal double doors. Unfortunately this one still in the door is the only one which is not damaged.

They look like maybe 1930's art deco ? I could have shot the dog who managed to break the others when he was locked in the shed !

Any enthusiasts out there who might like to try fixing them ?
